Terms of Service

Last updated: 20 September 2026

Plain English summary

These terms cover use of the Medical Core platform and website. If you book a paid telehealth or remote care service, the remote care section below also applies.

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using the Medical Core platform and website ("Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Who we are

MEDICAL-CORE.COM is the public home of Medical Core, a connected healthcare operating system for clinics, care teams and healthcare organisations. These terms explain how you may use our website, platform and related services.

References to "Medical Core", "we", "us" and "our" mean MEDICAL-CORE.COM and the Medical Core service experience made available through this website.

3. The Service

Medical Core provides a healthcare operations platform covering scheduling, clinical notes, billing, prescriptions, inventory management, patient apps, analytics and AI-assisted tools. Features may change over time as the product improves, and availability can depend on your plan, region and implementation stage.

4. Accounts and access

You are responsible for keeping account credentials secure and for ensuring that only authorised staff access your workspace. Please notify us promptly if you believe an account has been used without permission.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable healthcare regulations
  • Upload malicious code, attempt to reverse-engineer or disrupt the platform
  • Share access credentials with unauthorised third parties
  • Use the Service to process data beyond the scope of your subscription

6. Data and privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. As a healthcare platform, you are responsible for obtaining appropriate patient consents for data processed through your account. Medical Core acts as a data processor for patient data under your direction.

7. Fees and billing

Subscription fees, implementation scope and payment terms are confirmed in your order, proposal or written pricing agreement. Fees are charged in advance unless agreed otherwise. We will give reasonable notice before any material pricing change.

8. Intellectual property

The Medical Core platform, including its design, software, content, workflows and product materials, belongs to MEDICAL-CORE.COM or its licensors. You retain ownership of your clinic's data. You grant us the limited rights needed to host, process and display that data so we can provide the Service.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is". Medical Core does not provide medical advice. Clinical decisions remain the sole responsibility of qualified healthcare professionals. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free or uninterrupted.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Medical Core's total liability for any claim arising out of these terms shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

Either party may terminate the agreement with 30 days written notice. We may terminate immediately for material breach. On termination, you may export your data within 30 days, after which it will be securely deleted.

12. Governing law

These terms are intended to be fair, practical and easy to understand. Where a separate signed customer agreement exists, that agreement may define the applicable governing law and dispute process for that customer relationship.

14. Remote healthcare services (patients)

  • Platform vs clinical provider: Medical Core provides the technology platform, booking, payment and record-keeping. Licensed clinicians or partner clinics deliver the clinical service and remain responsible for clinical decisions.
  • Not for emergencies: Remote services are not suitable for chest pain, severe bleeding, acute trauma, suicidal crisis, or other emergencies. Call emergency services instead.
  • Accurate information: You must provide truthful symptoms, history and identity information. Clinicians may decline or redirect care if information is incomplete or unsafe.
  • Prescriptions & referrals: Issued only where clinically appropriate and legally permitted. Controlled or restricted medicines may be excluded.
  • Child and dependent accounts: Guardians must verify relationship and authority to book on behalf of dependents.
  • Payment & refunds: Services are paid in advance unless stated otherwise. Refunds may apply if a clinician cannot deliver the booked service under the published service promise; partial services may be refunded at the clinician's discretion according to the service policy shown at checkout.
  • Cancellation: Reschedule or cancel according to the time shown on the service page and confirmation email. Late cancellations may not be refundable.
  • Connection failures: If a video visit cannot proceed due to platform failure, we will help rebook or refund. Patient-side device or connectivity issues may require rescheduling under the service policy.
